Anyone ever cut down a 16” mid-length 6.8 barrel to 12-12.5”?
Did it need gas port mods? I know there are some 12.5” barrels already available out there. |

Haven't done a 6.8, but experience with others indicates that unless the port is large for it's current position it will likely need to be opened up.

I've assumed that 6.8 is not as gas port size/location sensitive as 5.56, especially using a suppressor, but I got some good input on port sizes on another forum, so I think I am good. |
