Has anyone done it?
It's 2 holes, one either side, should be simple, right? As long as you don't have the DTs while doing it?
Someone show one you've done so I don't spend $50 for one from a well known source here.
I'm already into them for like $300......
Really, how feasible is it?

Shouldn’t be too terribly difficult with the right tools. The steel is pretty hard so choose appropriate bits for steel, carbide or whatever.
