Are there any hand stops out there that will fit this rail?

Impact Weapons Components, but no longer see it on their website.

Edit: I had the handguard before. I used an extra rail nut piece to use a Larue handstop.

There's a few archived threads here and on TOS outlining modding the Larue hand stops.

Edit: ONE HERE

I have one on my 22lr rifle.

I don't remember where I got it or the make. I'll post a picture, hopefully someone will recognize it.

This is why I love this place!

So after your post, I went and looked again.

Sure enough, it is.

It's old and discontinued. You're better off putting WTB ads and scrounging classifieds/equipment exchange.

Started with the keymod version, ground the nub in the middle flat, then ran it through the table saw leaving two ridges that fit the grooves in the alpha

The bolt needs to be longer: 10-32 x 1-1/2" worked for me. You might need to grind a little off the end or add a lock washer if your barrel is fatter than gov profile

Backing nut came from Noveske, they were making alpha parts for a while but I can't find them on their website. Any flat nut large enough will probably work though
https://www.mcmaster.com/products/slot-nuts/low-profile-narrow-base-weld-nuts-8/

The only difference is that the Noveske backing nut fits into the hole in the alpha to prevent movement. Not sure how important that is. The hand stop really locks into the rail if the grooves are cut right
