I got an old PA Gen 1 red dot that I've stripped out  2 or 3 screwholes. I was thinking about just JB Welding the dot to the mount and using it on my 9mm AR range toy. Has anyone tried anything like this? If so how were your results.

Yes gluing in place will work. Even better,
Thread the holes to the next size up and you are able to remove the sight any time you want to.

You could do that OR contact PA about warranty work/replacement. They have outstanding CS.

PA does go above and beyond.  They have sent me parts that were missing or incorrect from used optic purchases, FREE of charge.

It's old and just a beater. I wouldn't expect any company to replace it.

All it needs is likely helicoil inserts tapped into the existing holes.  Pretty easy fix for them.

I wonder if the holes could be filled with JB Weld, then re-drilled and tapped?

I'd just use JB weld as the ultimate thread locker on those stripped screws and mount it up.
