We also offer an excellent option to finish our lowers with our LYCAN AR-15 Lower Jig. We have many other products as well. Including billet upper receivers, muzzles, and QD endplates. Thank you for your question. If I can help in anyway please let me know. Sincerely, Your Lycan Team |

View Quote Here's the thing, plenty of people around here love to carefully preserve the vendor logo/brand markings on their firearms, especially if it's an "Instagram-ready" gun that spends more time posing for photos than actually shooting. All you have to do is cruise the forums here to see all of the loving detailing that goes into paint-filling the roll marks on lowers of Spartan helmets and skulls to see that. Loads of people like to tape off the vendor branding on their uppers/handguards before they paint their guns to show off their "tier 1 operator" gear. So, from that point of view, if Lycan wants to put a big logo on there, who cares? I can think of a couple brands who are not "tier 1" but proudly emblazon their logo on everything... and their fans love it! Now, for me personally, I'm not a huge fan of the custom billet "look" that a lot of manufacturers go for, but I see it and understand it for what it is: market differentiation. If you do another run of mil-spec standard forged receivers, then you're gonna see a lot of people whining about "really? yet ANOTHER vanilla AR receiver set? why buy this when I can get it cheaper from X?" So yeah, if it's a milled receiver, they're going to try to make it look different. Personally, I think those differences can appeal to some, and there's plenty of room in the market for it. If the product is well-built and priced appropriately, I say "why not?". As far as 80% lowers... again, not my personal cup of tea, but there's HUGE interest in them at the moment. It makes sense to sell 80%s and capitalize on the "get em while you can" rush that's been going on for the past while. The magazine well is flared generously and that's really the thing that you're going to notice the most if you actually build it out and use it, so again, "why not?". EDIT: Misc. grammar mistakes. |

Not a fan of the big ass logo, BUT I am a fan of decently priced 80%ers. Reduce the logo size to about 1/6. Reduce price by maybe 15 - 20% if your profit margins allow. It's okay with new companies trying to market, as you see them trying to brand themselves and I respect that by coming to this forum and I'm sure a couple others. It's honest work that they don't HAVE to do. Lot of companies fail because they don't put themselves out there, market, or have any semblance of customer service. At least this new company is trying.
