Picked this up at a surplus store and I’m used to Center Industries mags having the restricted marks but I’ve never seen “or BATF approved equivalent” before does anyone have any more info on it

No idea, but that's kinda cool.
I have an "obscure" mag collection. I wouldn't mind having one like that to add to it. Edit: My apologizes...Welcome to the site.

I dug through my mag boxes and found these.
They are dated 2 months apart in 2002 and have different restrictions and different MFG fonts. https://imgur.com/a/YJJTAPu |
