I'm hoping to pick up a LMT rear sight in the future. Have a KAC micro sitting on it right now.

This damn thread has made me regret selling my PR upper.

Anyone have a lead on a KAC M4 RAS that is decently priced?

I appreciate the offer, but I took this off another upper and plan to replace it when I find a LMT. IM me if you ever want to sell the LMT however.

Finally received the EOtech 553TN...  This rifle functioned flawlessly throughout a 500+ round course, really like the way the PR handles.  The Aervoe paint holds up way better than I thought it would.

Yep, sold mine not long ago for fifty bucks. They hold their value very well, or even appreciate in value.

With the red flash suppressors, I suspect these may be airsoft training uppers?  Would they paint the muzzle device red like that if it shot regular ammo?

YES, it would suck big time if it fell off!  I did not waste any time between snaps, that's for sure.

I love the 300m sight... I've used the KAC 200-600, Troy, Magpul and this is definitely my favorite.  Simple, and quick to line up the shot.  I actually had not received my 553 in time for the carbine course, so I shot all 500+ rounds with just the iron sights.  I wasn't as quick as some of the guys shooting with red dots (primarily Aimpoint Micros), but it was a nice workout on the irons and I was plenty accurate.

Picked up a Spike's lower at Shooters yesterday for $80 and put my M4A1 SOPMOD Block 1/PR together. Tried my hand at painting it, and I like it! Looks quite a lot like a couple of the SF guns at work Have a 2" FH perm attached to make it 16".

Those just look like  muzzle covers but in RED, there are red and black versions. The BCG looks real.
