Which is likely to be the most rugged?: Magpul Picatinny VFG or MFT React Short VFG?
I've owned and used both, but wonder if one has superior polymer/ruggedness, haven't been able to find out much in that area.

They are both reputable brands, so you'll be good either way. Only real differences are size, shape, and texture design.

I'm a BCM short vertical grip guy myself, but I have been more pleased with the MFT minimalist stock over the magpul offerings. Mainly the tighter fit on the buffer tube, and the forward angled bottom of the butt stock that allows a smoother pivot from low ready to target.
