Anyone taken good photography/videos showing the comparison?

I was at the range training with my Mk18 when I saw some nice muzzle flashes out the end.

10.5" LMT upper with a surefire SF4p at the end. I shudder what it would be like with a muzzle brake

GAW DANG

Here in 2 weeks I'll see if I can get some slow motion video of various rifles. I have a 10.5 (SF4p), 12.5 (SF3P), and 2 14.5s (A2x and a SF closed tine FH).

I love how handy the 10.5" is especially using inside vehicles.

Doesn't cover it all, but here are two guns:

1)  11.5" With surefire closed tine.  A burst at full speed, then same slowed down, then slowed down some more.

2) 16" With muzzle brake.  Same sequence as above.

Ammo was the same 55gr with H335.
It was a very dark night with virtually no moonlight.

I'm assuming the 16" was first?

No, 11.5 with SFCT flash hider first, then 16" with non-flash hider muzzle brake.

Wow, I didn't realize a 16" would "spit" that much, even with a brake.
Very interesting.

Just another note, neither of these tend to throw visible fireballs in the daytime, at least not very often at all.  Maybe once in a while for the muzzle brake.
I'm sure the powder used has a significant impact as well.
The little "shooting stars" coming off the muzzle brake... I wonder what those are.  I suspect it is extremely small pieces of the brake itself being blown off and burned... Every brake I've owned so far shows visible erosion in short order.  Definitely can never see those in the daylight.
