Any experience with using either of these for refinishing old worn mags or other parts?

Is one more durable than the other? They both seem to do the same thing but not sure if one is better than the other.

As far as the military specification is concerned, they are the same.  Both meet the specifications for MIL-L-23398, Type II solid film lubricant.

@stickyheat

Did you get around to re-finishing your mags? I just bought some Permasilk-G, as well. Hope to re-finish some mags next month.

The Sandstrom works better if you slightly pre heat the mag bodies prior to coating.  Not overly hot or it will dick up the finish.
