placed an order yesterday Jan 14 for 2 black 2 OD green and 2 foliage green with window's and 1 20 rnd black at LaRue and order shipped today.

5 packs of 30 round Pmags are in stock at sawtac.com again. Foliage green is all that's left. Same deal as before with having to buy $25 worth of other stuff to check out.
Went ahead and grabbed some this time. |

Just got into AR's a few months ago and the only pmags I have been able to find are foliage green. Oh well, guess I'll have to build-up one of the lowers I have with foliage. |

I dont know how big magpuls factory is, but when things get cooking out of there there will be alot of mags everywhere and the prices should be around normal. Waiting is the key. Midway reports early FEB until they have stoner mags.

Actually my understanding is magpul has been at capacity for some time now, as for midway well lets just say they've had dpms 19rd mags out of stock for a couple months and every couple weeks they push back the arrival date. They do this on all sorts of products. If you watch them I've even seen products arrival dates get pushed back by 1 day every day during the week. Brownells last I heard had over 27000 pmag orders to fill, and that was just black 30rd versions. Companies are not going to put millions of dollars into increasing production when a ban could shut them down in a few months or a year. There are reports of companies and dealers stockpiling parts/mags/etc. instead of putting them on the market in hopes a ban goes through and they can charge way more for them. I know of several dealers with tons of mags/ar's etc. sitting in back rooms in hopes of a ban making the shortages look much worse than they really are. People blame panic buyers but manufacturers and dealers pulling this kind of stuff are worse as they supposedly represent the industry.
It's not going to get better in a month or two or three, DPMS already has backorders estimated at 2010, they are estimated magazine orders to take 4-5 months. RRA is so behind they won't even give an estimated order arrival date. in Nov people said "oh after Nov it will calm down and ar's/uppers/mags will be everywhere....didn't happen, then it was "oh after the first of the year it will be back to normal and mags will be all over for cheap, not even close, worse now than it was in Nov. The only way it's going to let up is if a year or two goes by with no hint of a ban, or they try to get a ban through and fail miserably. |

Are there any dealers with magazines in stock for service members only? My brother is deploying and in need of some new magazines, as the ones they issued him are not functioning reliably. I may end up trying to find rebuild kits, but whole mags would be great.
