Found a guy on Ebay doing stacked leather KA-BAR style handles on Marine Corp OKC3-S bayonets. They have a retro vibe to them and I thought it was a nice alternate bayonet to my Sarco M7 "Sniper" bayonet clone with Conetta blade and stacked leather handle.
Goes good with my Fallout New Vegas Service Rifle (which is also retro yet not a clone). Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Alright, that's pretty F'ing neat!
I have a stack of demil Ontarios I keep meaning to try and jig and weld. Handles are the typical beat to snot been there done that condition, that leather would be a nice finish. |

You'd better be quick if Samara starts coming up out of that well, OP...

Hey can you shoot me a PM with the seller too?
Be fun to sport this next time I'm on AT |

I did my own with a nam era Mk2 and a chewed on M7 bayo.
Popped the pommel off both and had to do very little file work and remove 1 or 2 of the leather washers. I've posted pics before. |

Seeing that bayonet with leather handle really makes me want one.

What keyword should I be looking for on eBay? I searched but didn’t see anything.

I'll just post here since a few people asked. I think that's okay?
Numberonegimilitaria No bayonets showing right now but I think they do them in small batches so maybe message him. I talked with him a bit and I believe it's three guys, all veteran crew, going these. He does have a couple of the KA BAR style knives using OKC3-S blades up right now. I have one of those too. I'll update with pics in a minute. Gotta find them on my phone. |

I've been watching his knives and bayonets for a while, but it's just hard for me to justify almost $300 on a knife that is really just for display.
But I do really want one. |

But I do really want one. View Quote Yeah, they're not cheap. I'm a knife guy too though and do spread my toy money out between knives and guns. I collect bayonets too, both real issue and some neat "might have beens" like this and the Sarco version of the M7 "Sniper". I like a lot of the foreign variations made for US M1 Garands and M1 Carbines, and M16's too. So while def not cheap, i thought it was worth it for me. |

Something like this but on one of the trial blades that is like a longer Ka-Bar and lacks the serrations of the OKC3S (I think the blade is around 10.5" long) would be pretty damned sweet.
