I have got a build that runs good with the adj gas block half open with a carbine tube and h2 buffer.
Same deal will not lock the bolt open with a magpul moe rifle stock with gas block fully open.
Think about going with a silent capture type buffer with a spacer in the rifle tube. Should this solve the issue ? If so which weight silent capture buffer would you suggest?

What gas block are you running?  When you switch to rifle stock, are using rifle recoil spring and rifle buffer mass?

Rifle stock is on a rifle tube with a rifle buffer and rifle spring.

So your just switching lowers?  What is the barrel length, and gas length?  Are you using a full mass carrier or some ultra light weight carrier?

Have you tried lightening the buffer?  Pop the pin and dump the weights and try it empty.  You may get an added benefit of lesser recoil.  If it doesn't run then you may need to increase gas.  You can get aluminum weights to fine tune if it runs "too good".
