Seems to add minimal length for 5 - 6 extra rounds.  Anyone have any experience with these, or any idea how these are likely to effect reliability by forcing the spring to feed an extra 5 - 6 more rounds than designed?

How did I not know that Magpul has 40rd PMags?

I use +5 TT base plates on my 15rd Shield Arms Glock 43X/48 mags. They come with an extra power spring and work fantastically.

I don't believe the pmag TT baseplates come with springs.

Anything that negatively effects reliability is terrible, IMHO.

They work great on the 30s and 40s. They are the preferred setup for a 2gun/3gun matches on a 40rd. I put 45 in the mag usually just so it seats easily but you can load a round in the chamber and then seat a mag with 46rds so you have 47 to start with and it functions fine.

Never had an issue with any of mine on 30 or 40 round P-Mags…

Why not just use a Surefire 60 at that point? DesertTech has that new quad stack lower that I want to try. I just wish the magwell wasn't skeletonized.

Long time 3 gunner here. I use the Taran extensions on my rifle and handgun mags. No issues with them.

We don't use surefire mags because they are less reliable. Seen many of them fail. 40 round pmags with an extension have been 100% reliable for me.
