I have a C7 upper that was sold to me as a Bushmaster.
It has a “L” stamped on the takedown boss.  Attached FileI have not seen this before. How old would this be and what would the “L” designate? Is it even a Bushmaster? Thanks in advance for any replies. |

LAR also machined lowers for Bushmaster back in the day and the serial numbers started with "L" instead of "BFI" for the Bushmaster machined lowers. |

Interesting. I was always told they did a "Y" on the rear boss.
This is an old A2 Bushy of mine from the late 80's very early 90's, in grey.
