Prices are actually down slightly at the moment,
Right now, an excellent condition post WWII / pre 64 Model 94 carbine in .30-30 will sell for between $1000-$1100. In very good condition it’s worth around $800-$900. If it’s in true mint condition then you could expect to pay $1500-$1700. |

I passed on it, the guy figured out what he had from other offers and he jacked the price up. Wasn't "mint" but dang close to it, I am not sure it has ever been fired. Couple of dings in the butt stock, nothing major though.
