I know everyone in here is more than well aware of the ridiculously fast approval times.  But I went to my local store at lunch yesterday and filed my form 4.  Got an email this afternoon that it was approved.  Looked at the time stamps, and application received to approval was 24 hours, 57 minutes.

I didn't think it would be THAT fast.

This could get very dangerous to my wallet.

That's fast.

I just got an F4 approved in 3 days and an F1 approved in 8 days (but the F1 did have mailed in fingerprints so that was probably most of that time).

I'm sitting on a little over a week now. To 3 weeks + to get the form 3 approved. Maybe next week.

Not everyone gets the super fast approval, I'm at 5 weeks on one and two weeks on another. Got a couple approvals earlier this year and they were at 2 and 3.5 months. I did think that was super fast at the time.

I just ordered a new can today. I'll see how fast it is when CA does my Form 4 next week. 24 hours is insane after every can I ordered last year took 6 months plus or minus a few days.

Same thing for me.  I bought a gun on a 4473 after my March 5th submittal, so I seriously doubt I got delayed on the NICS check for the F4s.

Form 1 or 4?

Trust 4’s are still 130-180 day approval time

Day 12, for me... Had 2 different friends that certified the same day both get approvals in 2 days... I get to wait. One of those was a first time buyer. This makes #12 for me. No rhyme or reason. Just is what it is. Maybe the wait won't be too much longer... We shall see...

Day 2

I was at their range earlier.
While waiting you can still use your can while you shoot, just as long you return it back to Jail.

I submitted a form four at 13:00 on Wednesday. Now I'm anxiously waiting to see how quick it comes back. Funny how it's never fast enough. I've had several year plus approval times and a sub sixty day batch approval. Here I am today watching the clock after three days.

Guess the quick approvals aren’t for me.  Certified an individual F4 on Monday morning, and 5 days later nothing.

Got the tracking number from ADCO for my freshly cut barrel this morning and got the approved stamp this afternoon.

Haven't even made the appointment to get the lower engraved yet.

ETA: Just noticed this is in the silencer forum.

You still haven't certified.  Wait to hear from your dealer.

I had one earlier in the month, through Capitol Armory.  Nine days from certification to approval.

I'm still waiting for three more at the LGS.  Submitted on the 23rd.

All individual.

Just had the last form 3 from an order I placed on the 3rd approved, and the suppressor shipped to my dealer today.

Capitol Armory

Dead Air Wolverine
Submitted: 3/8
Approved: 3/12

Surefire RC3
Submitted: 3/13
Approved: 3/18

Surefire SB2 FDE
Submitted: 3/22
Approved: 3/27

Silencer Shop (in stock at dealer, no F3 needed)

Dead Air Wolfman
Submitted: 3/14
Approved: Still Waiting

There do not seem to be many approvals from the week of 3/11 yet, at least through SS. There was an eforms outage that week and some are speculating that it might have sidetracked submissions for that week.

Otter Creek OCM5
F3 took 2 weeks to the day (3/15 - 3/29) and should be at my LGS to certify this week.

I might end up having the OCM5 faster than the Wolfman if we don't start seeing more week of 3/11 approvals.

Its funny now that we are counting days instead of the up to a year on wait times. My last can was 11 months to the day on the approval.

One nice thing about the wait was it gave you time to buy the mounts you need.

Now I get the can and have to scramble to find mounts in stock.

About the same for one of mine. Certified Monday afternoon, got the approval email this morning. Hoping the 2nd one I certified on Monday will be approved today too.

I finally got a 2 dayer.  Cert. on Monday around 1:40 PM, just got approval today (Wednesday) at 8:00 AM. Around 1 day 18 hrs.?

Most of mine have been a week.  And it takes longer for the Form 3 transfer to my FFL than to get my approval.

This is probably my last can, as this will be my 6th in a month and a half.  Mostly sub-gun cans.

Six Days.

It is very safe to say that, previously, I had WAITED for more days before APPROVAL than I have spent Hours waiting Now.
Guessing 130 hours over a Weekend.

Now to find time to go Downtown tomorrow morning.

the 1st one is certified, not the 2nd.
I certified on can one on 3/19. My dealer only does them Monday through Thursday from 10 to 4. I'm hoping to certify number 2 tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.  My dealer has been flooded with NFA goodies according to the manager

It’s sad.  Used to be you certified and didn’t even think about getting approval for at least 6 months.  Just put your mind on autopilot and forget about it.  Now, if you don’t get an approval in a week, WHAT’S WRONG?!!
