Hey all,

My bipod seems to be a little “sloppy” on my new 50. It isn’t very stable, it wants to roll left and right. There doesn’t appear to be any way to tighten. Any thoughts?

Thanks!!

The nylon bushings in the bipod mounts may be a bit loose.
Contact Barrett and see what they say. Or shim both sides with thin Teflon washers until you get the desired stability.

I think it's that way by design so you can level the gun if on a non level surface.

I noted the same slop/looseness on my 107A1 Bipod. :D

Have the accu-tac on mine, makes the gun rock solid. Basically lock that and the mono pod down and lay someone behind it boom done.

I put a o ring around mine and it firmed it up.   Was looking to do a shim thing but the o ring is way easier..
