I bought some 9 pellet Federal flight control and I'm getting larger groups then what everyone else is posting and they aren't consistent, sometime they are tight and sometimes not. I remember now why I've never been able to keep a tactical shotgun, never been happy with the accuracy. The positive though is the gun has been flawless with everything I've shot through it. Anyone got any bright ideas on adaptation for different stocks? I was wondering if a 1301 Urbino could be made to work. Or could a magpul SGA be heavily modified to work in conjunction with an aridus adapter?
ETA: if anyone has an aridus adapter, I have a magpul SGA mossberg stock that I would be willing to modify and risk destroying for the cause. |

I'm sure the a300 will be a popular choice and innovative companies will come up with cool products.

Anything is possible with enough time and resources. Eventually you'll exceed the value of the more expensive model that allows for those features though. The A300 is a value product for a reason. |

I see Garand Thumb released his A300 UP video a few hours ago and said he has 3000rds through the gun without any issues. He had the same complaints about the QD positioning on the stock and the plastic barrel clamp, Beretta rep said they were trying to keep costs down but are aware of the complaints so maybe they'll make some changes. He did not mention any issues with the weak mag spring, but I'm guessing he doesn't keep it loaded so that might be why.
I have Surefire M640U and a remote switch coming for mine, Nordic mag spring, along with a few Esstac 7rd shell cards. I'm really thinking about adding the Match Saver also, even though I'm shooting the gun left handed I've been able to get fast loads while simulating having a match saver installed. Still not sure what to do about the sling as I want to keep the gun somewhat ambi since both myself and my wife will be using it. Since I lost the attachment point by going with the GG&G barrel band the light will have to be mounted on the forearm so that eliminates a side mounted sling unless I want to move the light over to the other side for RH/LH setup. Might just have to attach it to the bottom. |

nice review but stock vs stock would have been nicer.

Yea I also thought it was weird they went through all the effort in making a comparison video and didn't just use two fully stock shotguns. But I guess they covered the fundamental operational differences.
Anyways I think I've decided to pass on a A300 Patrol (unless I find a super deal some day ) despite it having a few updated features over a 1301. Maybe if Beretta incorporates them into a new 1301 I'll get one of those instead. |

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down, and whisper "No."

Had some spare moments, so I took my son (4) across the road and put some shells through the a300. I will say with certainty that with 2 3/4 9 pellet buckshot loads, I will never outrun this gun. If I’m not chasing a sight picture, maybe, but if I’m focusing on good hits there’s no way for me to recover from recoil and keep slamming the trigger fast enough to cause a malfunction. For my purposes, it would have been money wasted to go with a 1301 or m4.

Maybe it’s because I’m a 870 fanboy but I’ve found the A300 to be all the semi-shotgun I’ll ever need. Glad Beretta came out with it. Good to see it getting compared to M4 and 1301.I was ready to drop $1999 on a M4 until I seen this sitting in the rack. LGS offered up a 1301 yesterday, I didn’t even look at it out of the box. I’m perfectly happy right now.

I am waiting to see if we get a better mlok handguard before considering one.
But the way these are selling I'm hoping it will be sooner rather than later... |

Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF1, would have immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.

View Quote I don't see what is wrong with the handguard it has? There are enough spots to attach a light and a sling in optimal positions. Unless they beef the forearm up I wouldn't want to attach anything closer to the receiver other than a match saver because the back of the forearm doesn't really seem that strong. |

I’m up to 550 rounds through mine, about 100 of those are since I installed the pro lifter, zero issues. I really like it and the 870 is in the safe.

Picked mine up yesterday, went with the gray finish.
Already changed the cast for a lefty, and hard as I tried, followed the you tube video, but couldn't reverse the safety. My Esstac cards are 5 shot for the Mossberg I have, so will definitely be getting 7 shot cards. Vickers 221 sling. Attached File |

Took a nylon punch and barely tapped it...came right on through. |

Put 50 more rounds through mine this morning while sighting in the RMR. Pleased as can be with this shotgun. What surprised me more than anything was the Remington Slugs shooting out to 100 yards, saw very little drop. At 25 yards Winchester 00 Buck makes an ungodly pattern. Still searching for a brand with a decent pattern. Federal Force and Remington 00 is next.

Has anyone installed the aluminum magazine tube sleeve and clamp from GG&G?
