Thanks! Snow shots are hard because it can white out the picture very easily. I had a couple of great pictures ruined because the exposure was slightly off.

They look awesome TTC! Great color, and you did a super job applying it. Does that Cerakote color match the Magpul furniture pretty closely? Or is it a bit darker?

Can't wait for the Magpul AK handguards to come out.

What are you using for the black engraving work? I've heard melted crayons will work but wondering what the right answer is.  Thanks!

I use Testors Enamel paint and plain old Crayons.

Please forgive my crappy photography skills...

Looks even better in person. I wish I could find a good backdrop to show how complex the color actually is. Dan_gray on here did the work for me, so you can always ask him what ratio he used.

Tung/gb/hardener.

Tungsten isn't very sensitive to darkening. You can really dump a lot in it before you notice the difference.

Been sitting and waiting for me to tackle it. It's kryptek but I also burnished each color after it flashed for a distressed look.
I think it turned out pretty decent. Now to do all the small parts and get to assembling it!

I do all my own cerakoting. The CMT above is 100% cerakote. I burnished the edges to give it a distressed look.

What does it matter if it's not sloped?  And it just wouldn't work the other way, or "correct way" according to you.

Here's my latest Cerakote creation on one of my new SBR's. I've done dark burnt bronze before and I think I have some pictures in this thread some where. This a 60/40 mix of burnt bronze and graphite black.

Brutus and Dan_Gray's work inspired my selection of color.

It was done by Finish First Tactical. I don't know the exact ratio we decided but it was similar if not exact to one of the ones they used.
