I don't have the File and Upload buttons. Perhaps that is for paid memberships. I'll look at imgur.

The only thing I would change is put a 12" ruler in the picture so we can get an idea of how big the can is.

View Quote I don't know if I'd go that far, some of those BOTD pics even make MY can smoke.... All joking aside, I concur. I love seeing the progress pics. It gives a person an up close/personal view of Nick's skillful work and what it takes to re-core one of these. I really can appreciate the talent of a good machinist. And his pricing is very reasonable to boot. More so than I would have thought from what I believe is a one man show. |

@Sixtysixdeuce do you offer any sort of baffle clipping service on approved form 1d suppressors?

If the end cap is drilled, can a separate baggie of storage cups be sent along for boring and clipping?

Kharn View Quote Boring & clipping cones is manufacturing silencer parts; I have to have the registered silencer to put them in for lawful return of the parts to a non-SOT. I don't care if the undrilled cones come inside the silencer or not, but they have to leave that way. |

Happy to report back that I am very pleased after shooting my ECCO can today! Took it to the farm and put a few mags through it. The gas exiting the rifle is pretty loud, and the sound of the action can be heard. Of course with standard hypersonic loads, it’s not quiet. But it has taken my 10.5” monster down to a comfortable shooter with standard ear plugs. Actually fired a few off without earpro. Wasn’t that bad, but not going to do it any more intentionally.
I did buy a Geissele charging handle that deflects the gas, but I was still getting a nose full ammonia. |

Ok gentlemen... Since I got my trump sugar daddy bucks, I will be doing my eform this evening. I guess Eforms are down from 4am to 1800? odd but I will play ball. I have been reading up and watched a couple of youtube videos.
The only question I have it do I need to include the baffle design? I was planning on using nick or any other member who could do a recore. I am not sure about spaces, and design though. Essentially, my question is could I just use the blueprint from maverick;s website and fill in the rest? I am very excited. For many reasons, my saving is being replenished of last months fees, and I get to start the journey into the form 1 world. Thank you guys for all of the help. |

Probably won’t matter much for this one. It’s a .410 barrel that will have either a flash hider or external choke installed that contacts the muzzle. |

Nick helped me.
A Charger based integrally suppressed barrel. And a Ruger PCC integrally suppressed barrel. Keep in mind, the QD lock required a longer barrel on the PCC. So there isn't a good way around it. ( My idea, as I wanted to be first on the block ) He did as best as could be expected with the design restrictions. I am happy with these custom firearms. Deal with confidence. |

Cutting a barrel is going to leave a burr inside the bore, more or less half way around. I'm thinking about the difficulty deburring the lands and grooves. |

Can confirm Nick's barrel threading is just as nice as everything else he does. I've got a G34 barrel he cut down and threaded to G17 length for me. If you know how difficult those factory Glock barrels are to thread with the mega thick hardening/nitriding or whatever it is they do then you should know he can do just about anything. Sorry I don't have pictures but I can get some this weekend.
