Does anyone know if ML40 barrels are available and compatible with ML37 launchers? I'm thinking about buying an ML37, but I don't want to spend that much on something that can only ever be a 37mm smoothbore.

It is something I plan to do in the near future. I signed up as a dealer with them so I can order a launcher and attempt the conversion. If successful, I will offer the service to those that get a form 1 for their launcher.

Unfortunately with my work/family schedule, it may be a few months. But I hope to do it for other launchers such as the B+T as well. But the ML37 will likely be the first to try it out on due to their affordability and strength. I handled one a couple weeks ago and there definitely seems to be enough meat on the barrel, and IWA says the barrels are just unfinished 40mm barrels from the factory.

That would be excellent. I like the look of the IWAs and think it'd be great fit for other rifles such as a scar or a swiss sig55x

I have the launcher, and part of an M203 standalone stock system so far. What I have in mind is sort of a "the GL-06 we have at home," but with the ability to be mounted under a rifle.

Been dragging my feet on getting a stamp, but I think I'll get the ball rolling when my work week ends.

In the meantime, I've been doing my homework on shell design, including DIY hi-lo systems. 3D printer go brrrrrrr.
