I disassembled mine a couple years ago to get it ready to thread the barrel. Lots of cast potmetal looking guts on the inside. Its not the greatest thing to see. But its just shooting 22lr, and the gun functions fine.

I bought the 16 in with the large loop lever, shoots great, lots of fun.
Did not check for accuracy but can make shotgun shells dance as far as i could see |

Very nice shooting. Poor materials and finish, except for the barrel.

Is there any way to mount an optic without sacrificing the rear sight?
I’d like to put a micro dot on one. It’s fine if the sights aren’t usable while it’s mounted but I don’t want to lose them. |
