Been in market for a 16-18 inch barreled bolt gun. Was resisting going with a Remington as I too was worried about their quality. FIL is a fan and hadn't seen past QC issues. I bit the bullet when a LGS got in a 700 SPS Tactical 16.5 inch. Broke in the barrel with some ball ammo the tried some of my good ammo.
Subject gun:  Target all 150 grain except the Precision hunter:  I figured the superformance should shoot better so I had my son with much steadier hands try it again. 3 shots.
