I just sold my Mark 2 (good pistol).

the only .22 pistol i have left is a Jennings J-22.

I’ve never heard of a poker shoot but figure you might be shooting at playing cards.   That sounds fun but my first choice wouldn’t be a Jennings J-22.  I had one decades ago and sold it to a friend.   It really was pretty decent for it’s size and construction.  My Father in Law still has one but it has only been shot once.   If the distance is seven yards or closer for the Poker shoot the J-22 might be up to the challenge if all you need is 6+1.
