I’ve not been bothered by the stock buttplate so wondering what improved.

No prob,
As said above, sorry for the late reply, it knocks off 4oz off the back and shortens the length of pull.
Something else is that since the thin plate is not rubber, it doesn’t stick to your clothes so to speak.

It just makes it feel smaller and faster to shoulder.

	Eternity is coming for us all. It cannot be denied, debated or avoided. We would do well to ponder how we're going to spend that eternity, because eternity is a long time to be wrong.
