Grey over field drab? Believe it or not there is no grey in it but its a weird shade of green by overspraying 3 different shades of colors together over the field drab. Sadly with Aervoe paint being discontinued I cannit duplicate that color again 😠 |

Sadly with Aervoe paint being discontinued I cannit duplicate that color again 😠 I kinda thought it might've been some form of light green after posting. When I take pics of my EMC with some light greens, they can look kinda grey. |

A few comparison photos I took showing the differences between the new ejector components used in the E3.2 bolts and the ones used in the legacy E3 bolts, which were standard mil-spec parts. The E3.2 ejectors are larger in diameter and a hair shorter in length. The E3.2 ejector springs are also larger in diameter and shorter in length compared to the previously used spring, and much more stout. I'd wager on the heavier dual spring design providing a substantial increase in service life, on top of the known performance advantage when running suppressed.
I'm curious to see if KAC will be offering an updated field repair kit that includes everything needed to rebuild both bolt types or if they'll be offering two separate kits, one for each type of bolt. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

You're going to have a legit rifle JCap. |

Attached File Was planning on doing a FSB 14.5” barrel, but servicing/assembly/disassembly was going to be a pain since I intend to P/W this upper for a travel rifle for taking to classes across the country. Ended up using a Micro MOA fluted barrel and Micro MOA gas block I had laying around. Now just got to wait for my paint to get delivered so I can finish everything and get it assembled. |

Finally joined the KAC family. Looking forward to shooting it.
Light and some other accessories coming soon Attached File |

Originally Posted By Embittered: @871jz is the KAC 3.2 ejector approx. 0.451” long and 0.131” diameter? View Quote @Embittered Unfortunately, I didn't take any measurements of the E3.2 ejectors while they were out. That said, a standard ejector measures .450" long and .106" in diameter. The E3.2 ejectors appeared to be a hair shorter than that .450" dimension, but it could have been my eyes playing tricks on me because they were very close in length. Without an actual measurement, I'd say your stated diameter of .131" sounds about right for the E3.2 ejectors. I'll try to get some dimensions posted tomorrow evening. I'm curious where you came up with those numbers. Is there some other ejector that matches the dimensions you posted that you're thinking may be a suitable replacement for the ones in the E3.2 bolts? |
