I'd just search the part number on a few sights and look for MSRP or close. Probably not going to be any smoking good deals with it being so new.

I’ve been looking since day one and the cheapest I’ve found is $2100ish. I’m hoping they’re not a limited release and they’ll come down once they’re distributed more.

Didn't they just get released? I'd just set a bunch of stock notifications and roll on.

They did but who knows how they'll fall in terms of price.  I wanted the new SBL since it came out and told myself I'd wait for the price to come down.  I ended up just getting one for MSRP because it has been almost 2 years now and they're still $1,500+ online.

I picked one up at Murdochs for under MSRP a few weeks back. If you are near one it might be worth checking.

45-70???

I like it better in the sbl since it's a 6+1 and not a 5+1 in the dark.

Heck just buy 2 Henry X models for that money.

You lost me at Marlin 1895 and reasonable price.

The inflated prices on these things is laughable.  I wish people would stop buying them so the prices would come back down to an acceptable level.  If you've taken apart a lever action you know there isn't much to these guns, and the recently produced Marlins I've handled don't exhibit "fine craftsmanship".

I wanted a 1895SBL for the longest time, but there is zero way I'll pay more than $1000 for one so I won't be buying one, ever.

Why? The Ruger site says 1400 something msrp. I want this rifle, would rather it be .444 marlin, and have the hybrid 46 can here waiting for it.

Started to add dark to my collection at about $750.  I think the last 2 were about $1200 (45/70 early covid, and a long hunt for a 44 mag post covid/pre bankruptcy - not many made I guess).  In between those 2 I gave a 30-30 dark as a gift, it was still at a good price.

I’ve ordered quite a few guns from them with no issues.

I work for a Ruger/Marlin distributor.  There have been very few Marlin Dark series released.  Very few.

I bought a CMMG Banshee at a point when they were unobtanium otherwise, not even from CMMG.

Good experience for me but it's only an example of one.

I  went with a model x because I could find one.  I have the hybrid and some Hornady subsonic just waiting.  The rifle is still in the box.  5 kids don't leave much time to shoot.

I need to shoot it or sell it.

I've been trying to find a dark for a reasonable price for 6 years

The Henry X’s were hard to find near retail for a long time.

These probably will be too.

They are legit. Owned by the same family that owns Vance Outdoors. They are likely the highest volume dealer in Ohio if I had to guess.

I have found X series everywhere from slightly below, to slightly above MSRP.
