So just received this from our friends at the aft.   I have my minor son as the beneficiary.  I am the sole responsible person on  the trust.

Are they looking for a birth certificate?  I’ve previously only filed as individual.  The trust is through capital armory.

Odd thing is they approved 1 of the 3 cans I’m waiting on and all 3 are under this same trust.

Please provide either updated trust or supporting documentation showing that beneficiary is not able to possess, store, hold, transport, use etc. firearms.

It sounds like they feel your beneficiary qualifies as a responsible person based on the language in the trust.  Is there some wording in there that allows them to posses or use the items owned by the trust or anything similar.

It's really kind of hard to nail down without actually reading your trust, but basically you need to make sure that it doesn't allow the beneficiary to access the trust property before it get's executed.

This.

I usually get this about once a month with one of my customers. It is almost always the language around the beneficiaries.

It was the verbiage.   I talked to Capital Armory and they took care of it and resubmitted.  Great customer service from CA!
