I have an old Rossi 92 that is being threaded for a suppressor. When I get it back I want to add a red dot sight, probably a Sig Romeo or similar.
In researching a mount, I came across this company. Does anyone here have an opinion about them, or other suggestions? https://universalopticsrail.com/Alum-Fixture-92-p248915041 Thanks |

I have not used the one you posted a link to but have used this one for a red dot and scope. Works well.

I have the Noe mount.
Don’t use it, pm if you want to buy it. They started coming threaded around 8-10 years ago, pretty sure all made since then are threaded. |

My Rossi was made in the early 80s. The barrel is not drilled and tapped.

I did This one
Works great for old eyes with a red dot! New level of accuracy for me. |

I don't personally have one, but Turnbull makes a dot mount

The Turnbull one is well made. I have one I had on an 1886 that I am selling. It just didnt go with the gun.

I'll check that Turnbull out.

I like that OP. Especially since there's a rear sight blade on it.

I too liked that rear sight option. It turns out that the one that he said would fit my Rossi did not. Rather than go through the hassle of an exchange and paying for the ride back, I drilled this one out and got it to fit. It actually turned out pretty slick. I have a Sig Romeo MSR that is going on it, and will have a suppressor in jail for it shortly as well. I need a low mount for the Sig MSR, which I am in the process of locating. |

Imagine that, one that is "no drill" is garbage. OP, check to make sure you have 4 drilled and tapped holes by/under rear sight, if so, get one from ranger point or skinner, or the one from rossi. |

I had to use another design. |

Anyone have a reliable place to drill and tap the pre 2010’s? I’m not sure I want to take it to the local gunsmith.
