For those of you that haven’t seen it yet, PTR introduced 2x Mossberg based AOWs at the 2024 shot show. Pricing is 750 plus the 5.00 stamp.

lol wonder why PTR jumped into that market. Done at scale I could see how there's some profit. Definitely some market. I'm glad I found my 12 and 20 Safety Harbor guns when I did.

It will be interesting to see if they offer one with the folding front grip, or if their only offerings will be AR style front grips.

I've seen a few homebuilds that are similar. I think it's just a simple way to get a front grip. The fold up grips aren't super complicated but added cost. First thing I thought of was the old gas block mounted forward grips on AR's. Seemed like for a long time people were sticking AR grips on everything. |

Can they be repapered as a SBS?
Ia doesnt allow AOW but SBR/SBS are just fine. |

Did the Mossberg factory front grip fold or was it just a stubby? I’ve never seen one in person. The Safety Harbor is nice. I assume it’s the same as Serbu because of the employee that was both places.

I just want to find a decently priced 500 aow. Preferably with a folding vert grip which seems impossible to find now. Best I have seen was a 20ga but I want to run some 12ga mini shells to get a little more capacity. Sucks you don't really see ANY on the used market now or extremely overpriced.
