My wife and I were an awesome little gunshop, and this was on the shelf. I am a sucker for anything with mag traps in the stock (It has all three mags, serial numbered to the gun). Anyway, the price was fair, the rifle is very clean, and we took it home. It seems to be quite rare in the USA, but much more common in Canada and Australia. Anyone have experience with it?

Neat rifle.  Never seen one in the US.

Is it a post 1993 china import ban?

Badass looking rifle

Looks "old world" due to wood and metal finishings.

How's the trigger
10rd mags?

That’s cool.  My first gun was a Norinco .22 - model JW-15.  I’ve still got it - ended up having the barrel cut and threaded.  Yours looks to be a nicer gun though.

I believe its a pre ban gun, and only about 1000 made it into the country.

5rd mags. Has three of them. The trigger is a pretty damn good 2 stage.

It’s been a long drought for Norinco in the US.  I know they’re Chinese, but can’t we lift the import moratorium on them yet?

That's a sweet looking rifle.

That action is a Anschutz Match 54 copy. Very underrated and very accurate. I have 3 of the NS522 rifles imported by KFS. Same action.

AIRBORNE.....

I have three JW15’s.  They shoot as well as my CZ’s.  Your rifle is beautiful.

I never saw one or I would have bought it. Norinco made some cool stuff: I have two of the Browning SA-22 copies and they are sweet little guns. Congratulations on that one

Wow, that looks SO COOL.  That looks like a sweet medium or heavy barrel... around what thickness would you think?  Man, SO cool!

Looks like something that would be right at home behind the scenes at an African hunting lodge for shooting small vermin.
