I'm not sure where to post this and I'm not sure if there are any threads already on the topic (I couldn't find any).

Anyway... I'm looking for a new range bag (mostly focused on pistols and indoor ranges).

I'd like to see what other people are using, how they have things set up and what they bring to the range.

I don’t buy any other rifle cases, although I do have a Drago from when I built my first AR.

I also bought a no name range bag back then and it’s a good bag. I have a 5.11 bag I use on pistol only days and it’s outstanding.

I have 3 Savior rifle cases and I’m saving up for a 42” double case for my ar10 build. They’re perfect in my opinion. I see similar quality stuff for hundreds of dollars. Ridiculous.

I just looked at their Specialist Range Bags and wish I had found them before I bought my big no name bag. So nice!

Anyone know the difference between the specialist double rifle case and the American Classic? I can't quite tell what the advantage to one vs. the other.
I am looking for a double rifle case.

TIA

The larger bag offered by 5.11 is what I just got. I previously had the midway bag but the zippers were so shitty I couldn't close some compartments and pushed me over the edge to get the 5.11 which seems way better.

Mainly it's the exterior pocket design and layout. The interior where the rifles go is very close to being the same in both cases. Both have pockets for the muzzle and butt stock. And both have Velcro straps to hold the rifle in place while in the case. The American Classic is more of an old-school design. The Specialist is a sleeker, newer-looking design.

I have the 55" American Classic. It's WAY too big for my rifles, but it was ordered by accident. I thought I'd selected the 42". I like the case and I like the exterior pocket layout (I"m an old-school type of guy).

I have a number of inexpensive range bags configured for various firearms.  Rifles/Shotguns/Pistols.  None of them take much abuse.

I’m using this bag currently. It will hold a lot of stuff. In it I usually carry ammo, ear pro, accu tac bipod, rear bag. Then in the side compartment I usually have my stapler, ar armorers wrench, multi tool and a medium pair of knipex pliers. Lastly, I have a medium sized trauma kit attached via the MOLLE webbing on the end. Plus, it’s made in the USA
