Hi

I have a Remington 582 that my dad purchased for me back in the late 60's if I remember right.

It's in pretty good shape other than an area on the bottom of the butt stock wear some of the clear top coat is missing, and some scratches on the scope rail. It probably has less that a 200 rounds thru it since new.

Unfortunately I need to part ways with it with a local sale and wondering what a fair price might be for it?

Thanks in advance!, photo links below:

Too bad you aren't willing to ship - they are nice guns.

Right? Owned one years ago, really regret parting with it.

OP - I think a reasonable price for a 582 in that condition is about $350.

I hate to get rid of it but I'm retired and moving to a much smaller place and have to many rifles and have to thin the herd.

I appreciate the info as sounds like worth more than I thought.

That makes it C&R. Though maybe not much help if selling it locally.

From the few I've seen in my area, this would be a very reasonable price for one in decent shape. I've seen them as high as $425.
