Ordered one of these yesterday.  I’ve been looking for one in local stores for a few weeks with no luck so when I seen it in stock online I bite the bullet.  Anyone have one?  With no luck on Nodak Spud sights I think this is my best bet.

I have been looking at this or a compact.  I think for sights you made a good choice if you like the stock.

I’ll see if I like the stock, can always change it.  The problem was finding a 16”, threaded, heavy barrel with a way of installing aperture sights.

Wow they finally took my advice

Should used the compact stock though, I like it's adjustability

I wish it was the lightweight barrel.  That would be a great little open iron plinker.  Still way cool.

Picked the rifle up today.  I won’t be able to shoot it for a week or so but it’s looks nice lol.  The barrel is much heavier than anticipated, seems front heavy but not overwhelmingly so.  Gratuitous 10/22 group pic.

It looks like a heavier TC/R22 with a more traditional stock. Aperture sights built in is a nice feature.

This is pretty cool. And lightweight…

TCR22 has a skinnier barrel, this is PHAT

Nice looking rifle OP, aperture sights are nice!

Any idea on how to adjust the rear sight? The manual says nothing.

Don’t know, that factory rear sight sucks donkey testes.  I upgraded it already

Set screw on each side that slides the aperture. Loosen one side and tighten the other. Also have to loosen one side to screw the aperture in or out for elevation.
Its kind of a process getting it exactly where you want it but it stays solid once you do.

Leave it to Ruger to include a feature but execute it poorly.

Yeah they really should just partner with Tech-Sights and be done with it.

*Thompson Center enters the chat with the TCR22 to solve all the problems of factory 10/22s*

*S&W buys up TC and shuts it down*

Absolutely...the blueprint is there for anyone that wants the market share yet nobody seems to want to step in between the barebones basic and feature-devoid 10/22s and super high priced stuff from boutique manufacturers. It's a shame.
