So my nephew is big into the 12” GI Joe style army guy toys. And my brother tells me he really wants a SCAR 16 for his guy to match my real SCAR 16. So I’m browsing eBay for 1/6 scale Scars. And man do they have some detailed toys. Moveable sights, correct AAC suppressors, meter mounts on the 17’s barrels, Elcan sights, Tango Down FVG, correct PEQ, etc. Example:

Like someone who made these did their homework and have very correct detail in all the parts (for the most part). That’s when I ran across this toy Scar:

It’s very detailed. And looks like it’s certainly based off a real concept. But I’ve never seen or heard of an FN conversion lower to run 7.62x39 in a SCAR 16 or 17. Perhaps it’s just a made up toy, but someone really put a lot of thought into the conversion lower detail for just being a toy. Thoughts?

Before they went under, Handl Defense was working on conversions for the SCAR platform.

The lower on that toy is based on a lower showed by FN at a trade show.  I forgot which trade show.

Beretta actually did it with the ARX & teased a commercial release, then...nothing.
