I just purchased a hk usc and was delivered to my ffl yesterday but now the fun begins with the modification of the usc to a ump copy. This will take me some time because bills and kids but will keep this thread posted with updates when I have any. Thanks
Congrats OP. I REALLY want to go on the same journey but I just don't shoot 45 acp as much. That and after doing my g36c conversion (back when Tommy 1st started), it just now sits in the gun safe.
I love mine. I had it SBRed; TommyBuilt stock block conversion. It now wears the Stock Block C adapter for an AR stocks. Far more comfortable than the standard UMP stock.
This gun gives me a shit faced grin every time I shoot it. I wish I had the cash for a transferable Grease Gun SMG to go with it. .45 ACP PCCs are awesome.
I don’t know how committed you are to this project, but I stumbled into a USC for like $1100 and figured I’d do sort of a ‘halfway’ conversion. It works to give that UMPy look without all the added expense.
All in all, I think I spent about $1600 on the whole thing including tax stamp.
