You done beyond good - Its a Coup!
Congratulations, Toasts & archive gloves fondling it all.
Bow-Yield-Kneel to recovered American History!
May it be preserved well beyond our temporary custodianship pal.

"We don't care what its worth, only what it cost..." (Preservation)

No stock screw reinforcing rings, el perfecto! That is one early Ithaca
(original manufacture/issue 'Double Logo' Ithaca's using new/not-yet-issued/shipped Ithaca Replacement Slides have the same stocks)

Almost hate to remove the verdigris on the Boyt, its slowly rotting the leather, but damn!

Neat. If paid in line with cmp prices it is a great deal. Ithaca 856583 is currently on the cmp auction with matching serial # Garand.

SRS is cool but remember it is only a snapshot in time of the Pistols history.

I always thought the Marines ditched their L mags after Guadalcanal because they were so darn heavy. I guess the guard co kept theirs since they weren't going on patrol with them.

Man that's awesome! I had a couple SRS Krags, kept one of them. My brother has an SRS 1903 he was able to trace back to the individual Marine who it was issued to at Pearl Harbor in the 30s. Unfortunately, i only have the digital version of the SRS to go off of, but yeah it's a quick and handy tool on my phone while on the go.

ARG does fantastic work and Stolinski is a personal friend. So luckily I can reach out to him with any quick questions.
