There are a couple places where this info may be mentioned but I’m trying to get as much of a clear picture on the USA-made Aug as possible so figured this would be a good thread. From everything I’ve learned so far, the current usa-made iteration of the Aug definitely uses the following components:

-USA receiver cast and machined in usa too
-USA barrels that are machined from CHF barrel blanks made in Austria
-Stocks maybe made in the USA with cracking issues? - have conflicting data out on where they’re made that I’ve seen

Anybody know for sure about the above? What about the other parts like bolts, rails, charging handles, trigger packs, magazines, etc?

I spoke with someone at Steyr today and he said the receivers are US made and the stocks are made in Austria. The Steyr website says their barrels are hammer forged in Austria and finished in the USA. Maybe chambers are cut, muzzle threaded, and nitrided in the US. But who knows exactly.
