The old six round bandoliers with the plastic inserts.
Works like a charm for me. ETA: I just put those into ammo cans. Makes storage and transport easy. |

I use some precut 40mm foam in a standard .50 ammo can. Works good with one or two layers pulled out.

Very nice. I use the 40MM ammo cans as well, but have cardboard shipping tubes I keep each individual round in. GROG
