Just picked this lnib unfired legendary lawman commemorative, have all the paperwork, box in really nice shape and even has a box of legendary lawman 30-30 ammo. Not sure why as I’m not a collector and won’t shoot it, guess just because it’s a really nice gun. Plus the deal I think was to hard to pass on.

If there was ever a case to be made for a safe queen, you've found it. Absolutely gorgeous rifle!

I have Alaska State hood rifle, with the sales receipt from my grandpa.  Rifle has never been fired, it sits in the back of my safe.

That’s awesome.    I have one also its in a case above my desk at work.   They also make a matching plate and mug to round out that collection.  The plate is some what available  the mug took me about three years of watching to find one.   The box of ammo is worth some where around 100-120 alone.

I agree. Other than the satisfaction of ownership, why have a long gun that never gets used for what it was designed for?

I recently bought a beautiful Henry brass frame lever action in .357.  It’s beautiful in all respects. I’ve been shooting steel plate comps with it. I am careful. However if it gets scuffed, so be it.

John Wayne shot his lever actions.
