Silencer shop is covering the tax stamp for these right now, seems like a pretty solid deal I might have to pull the trigger on.

It looks kinda odd to me with the two diameter body but I can get over it.

My favorite suppressed rifle right now is my Keltec RDB so this would probably live there most of the time.

This will be my first dedicated 5.56 can, I was thinking I might get an Otter Creek Polonium or Hydrogen as well but it's hard to argue with what is effectively a $350 can + mount.

Anyone here running one already?

I shot mine for the first time today on my 10.3. I didn’t bring anything to compare with but it performs the same as I’d expect a normal K can to perform, but in a  notably shorter package. I’m happy with it and will probably buy a second.

Just for clarity, I can only vouch for the superior version. If you bought the inferior version I’m not responsible and my review doesn’t apply.

Damn you all, I just bought the cat butt version. So much for trying to boycott black friday.

I will take the free tax stamp and I am going to cancel the form 1 I had to make a K can. So now my price is even lower. ( I know womans math, getting money back is free money )

Are the prints good forever?
Is the Form 4 submit different now with Eforms? Is it you have to go to dealer to submit, I am not close and prefer when it was only one trip to pick up.

No, I’ve got one in jail for 11 months. Most of mine go about this long, but I’ve seen everything from half that, to a couple longer.

It's standard HUB threading. It should work fine with any HUB adapter, including the older YHM Phantom mount
Link Posted: 11/29/2023 10:05:14 PM EDT
[Last Edit: ar556223] [#27]
So it comes with an adaptor that works with the sRx mount, but does not work with the older mounts?
One would have to source a phantom or similar threaded adaptor to work with the older yhm mounts?

Correct. I chose to use the mini SRX mount though as it’s stupid compact. My resonator came with a phantom HUB mount so I have the option to switch it over to use on my multiple phantom-equipped rifles.

I ordered one 11/24 and just completed the KIOSK steps yesterday, fingerprints and submitted a photo.
This will be my first ATF form submission.
Looks like Silencer Shop will review and get back to me then I submit the eform?

About any non flow through can will be gassy on a DI AR without AGB/gas CH/heavy buffer etc.

Ahhhh ok, that makes sense.  Welcome to the world of suppressed AR's

You'll want to consider a gas block that controls gas flow (I like the Superlative Arms ones myself) and a PRI gas buster charging handle.

Put this together last night, 11.5" BA barrel, superlative arms gas block, BCM CH, carbine buffer.

Got the fat cat nice and hot, 210 rounds in about 30-35 mins.  Gas block was adjusted to where it just barely wouldn't lock open on an empty mag and then opened two clicks.

Last three or four mags were fast, gas was fine, a little gas but not bad at all.

Copy. I've considered transitioning to a system that doesn't use a secondary lock. Right now I use rugged and legacy yhm.

I just put one into jail.  What handguards/barrel lengths are you guys using to get it tucked?  I have a criterion core 13.9 laying around from a previous build that never came to fruition.  I think the aero enhanced handguard has a large enough inner dimension, and I think the 15in rail would have the can tucked very nicely, but would like to hear from those that have tucked the fatcat.
