Is your AOW/SBS in California?

Just curious since your AK Pistol has a maglock on it.

It is not a bad thing... Several CA folks followed the letter of the law and got the approval. They legally own their AOWs in the State of CA.

Doc,
I've wanted something like your blaster there since I first saw it.... It is truly awesome! Where/how did you get the barrel and mag tube chopped? Was it difficult? Have you found that extra few inches worth it? If you had it to do over would you go as short or just leave the mag tube at the standard 4 and call it good? Again, love the blaster! As soon as I stop moving around all the time I'm puttin in my paperwork!
Thanks!
RG

Anyone know the laws regarding AOW, SBS/SBR, and suppressors in WA state?  Or, better yet, know of a trustworthy reference for this info?

Thanks.  rich

You can own AOWs in WA and shoot them. You can own suppressors, but you cannot shoot them in WA. You would have to cross over to Oregon or Idaho to use it.

SBRs, MGs, and SBSs are not allowed in WA unless they have been registered before 1994.(I could be wrong on the date)

Just like it sounds.  You can have them, hold them, clean them, look at them, fondle them, stick them up a dog's ass (did WA ever change their beastiality laws?) but you can not fire them in state.  Lots of guys kind of and do it anyhow since it's only a mis-d.

No, but it looks like it doesn't it. Contact a member here warped. He can make yours look like this and it looks and feels factory.

I just got my Form 1 back on the 3rd and put this together. I still have a couple goodies left to put on it, though. I also need to GunKote the receiver and mag tube to match the barrel.

So does the sbs application need to be on Form 1 or 4 ??  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Then I can post a pic of mine when I put it together.

To IMRICH:

As I understand, if you are cutting the shotgun down to a SBS, it will be done
on a Form 1, since you will technically be the manufacturer of the SBS. If you
are buying it as an existing SBS, it would be transfered to you on a Form 4.

Hope this helps.

The gun is 100% reliable and the recoil is around HALF that of a Benelli.

Planned modifications:

Enlarged charging handle
Mesa Tactical shell holder (8 shot)
Scattergun Technologies Tritium front sight
Scattergun Technologies Trak-lock rear sight
Install a Rem Choke - Modified
REFINISH

PursuitSS

I've been thinking about having Sage modify my 11-87...  Would you recommend it?  Can you post pics of the conversion?

I just got an e-mail from Sage Fri. They are only doing Mil/LE weapons. No personal weapons.

Any suggestions on where else to get one done?

I'd put "to cut some somebitch in half if he broke into my home and tried to rape my children". I think that would fly with most CLEOs. ...........the investment, collection thing would be a nice second. I hate PCness........

Here is my 870. I want to upgrade the trigger housing, install some ghost ring sights, and refinish the stock and receiver so they match.
