Hello gents,

Been shooting in the local pistol matches and will be going to CP in July to shoot the 22 - CF - and 45 match.

At the local matches all you really need is a good spotting scope and pistols - plus a few other items.  Carry your gear to firing line/bench from your vehicle and your pretty much ready to go.

At CP I've seen some pretty nice competition pistol boxes and other gear.  The boxes are pretty pricey and funds are limited.

I know I won't be a top shooter - mainly going to enjoy and learn.

So -- any ideas on what I need or other suggestions greatly appreciated.

You need the pistol box to mount your spotting scope at eye level. It can hold everything you need, ammo, guns, tools, pen, eyes, ears, etc.
