The Balckhawk doesn't really work like it did before the patch... which is actually a good thing for gameplay.

If you haven't already noticed...
Xfire's last General Game update [Oct 28], should have fixed the auto join function of Xfire (since the BF2 1.03 patch). Your Xfire should have already updated, if you have used it in the past couple of days. If not, I think you can force it to update. Should make joing BF2 1.03 games easier, once again.. |

I am logged onto the Teamspeak server, but i see many channels and everyone is unregistered.
What's the deal? PS I am connecting to the 67.18.151.236 TS server. |

I'M REPOSTING THIS BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE HAVEN'T SEEN IT.
Due to the numbers of spammers coming into our TS server, I have put in place some new restrictions. So... every AR15 clan member must be registered with the TS server. All this means is that you choose a username and a password on the TS server and use that to login everytime. The main room will be Moderated, which means only users with "Voice status" can talk... I can only assign that to people who are registered. I will also be giving Channel Admin rights to other members so that they can kick people too and let people register. In order to get registered and have voice, msg one of the guys with a CA or SA next tot their names. At this point Rellik, Uglygun and myself have that access. When you are given access to register, go here....  Then once you log back in, you should be registered, notated by the (R) next to your name. Then I or one of the other admins can give you (AV) for auto-voice status. If you can't do it or have questions, find me on Xfire (digitaldizza) -d |

Diz & I were just checking out BF2:SF maps. We haven't played it much yet. My system didn't play it well, until I tweaked a few more settings. I thought I had fixed my video stuttering problems. But, found a few maps where the stuttering was pretty bad. A few maps are playable for me and a couple aren't. It's not a lag issue as I had a great ping to the server. Just need a video card upgrade. Funny things is that some maps only stutter in certain parts of the map. In the more open area, my FPS is decent enough to play, but once I get to the big buildings with many rooms, it begins to stutter. The Aircraft carrirer map causes this also. On night maps, I'm having a hell of a time seeing some bad guys, even with night vision. All I case see is their muzzle flash when they're in the fields/brush. If they're near buildings/walls/road I can see their silhouettes. But, in the fields, it's all black on black..until they start shooting at me and I just aim for the muzzle flashes. Dizza says he can see them, but I can't. Again it's do to my old vid card. |

Apaprently theres a big FPS hit with SF. No clue whats causing it other than shitty coding.
Check your settings over once you get SF installed. My settings got bumped from medium to Low for my vidcard, and I have a Gf FX 5900 Ultra with 256mb memory. get in the upper 30's to mid 40's FPS in regular BF2, low 20's to mid 30's in SF. Of course my system is on the low end of gaming systems now  Athlon 1900+, 1.5Gb PC2700, Audigy 1 with hacked drivers to actually use surround sound, and an 80Gb ATA HD. |

The problem I have with Xfire is you have to ask people to let you add them as your friends or you can't find out where they are. I've done this to several people...and never had anyone allow it. Plus it might take days. Kinda lame......
I wish you could just look them up by clan...or username and instantly find out where they are. |

im the opposite . I would rather have the option of allowing someone to see what game and server i am on. I never had the problem of them not adding someone. if your in game and some one invites you to their buddy list. it won't pop up untill you log out of the game. you might even have to completly relog into xfire to be added i don't remember. i like it just the way it is |

What I have done as only Dizza and a few other has accepted my Xfire request is to log in to the Team speak and see if anyone is playing. I then ask for the IP for the game and ususally get it. |
