me too. this has reaffirmed a few things for me today.... ALWAYS wear eye protection..... Don't shoot alone... would have been an hour before anyone found me had that bolt hit me... Plastic is not now nor ever has been adequate for a firearm frame surrounding the bolt and carrier. when metal parts can fly toward your head they should be encased in metal. |

just cheap plastic ones  as much as i shoot and as many as i have traded and owned the law of averages just catch up with you once and awhile. i have never had a Quality well made firearm fail. |

Gotta here the outcome on this one.
If it were me, I wouldn't trust that design ever again. A bolt flying back towards the forehead is too close for comfort. I would want my money back. |

Glad the bolt didn't hit you.
It might not have buffed out! Well, I guess it probably would have..... Good to hear you are okay. And I am sure KelTec will make things right. Although I don't think anyone would blame you for forgoing an exchange and getting a refund instead. |
