We should start setting up some regular games. In the mean time, go to the clan page on AAOTracker, and click on the little button marked "buddy" under the main clan info. This will add all clan members to your buddy list. Then, every time you log on to AAOTracker, you can see who from the clan is playing, and where.

Anytime I go play now, I'll log into the server and be there in case someone else joins.

I figured out a way to just put a link on the desktop and have it connect to the server and join the channel in one click. If you guys want to do the same, just say so and I'll show you how.

That is mostly because someone posted the wrong TS server to use ;)

Current TS server: 216.32.80.226:8774, then join the AR15 Clan room.

QUESTION: I downloaded the 2.2.1 patch and when I log in at AA, I still have only the 2.2 version.

I've been on servers where the admins make you all have just nades, or rpk's... it is so much fun when they do that.. quite a few times they just do it without any advanced warning. All of a sudden every guy you go up against has the same weapon as you!

yeah, i was in a SF Pipeline server, and everyone would meet in the bathroom, or in one of the hallways and then admin would give us RPKs/pistols/sniper rifles. one time we managed to get everyone in 2 bathroom stalls

tons of fun.

You used to be able to do hand to hand in the original release. When you dropped your gun, two fists came up.

That was at USS Enterprise Playground : 64.74.136.164:1716.

Sometimes they play normal rounds, but a lot of times admin gives you crazy weapons and you just run around killing people.

CSAR is a lot of fun when everyone gets GP30s and frags, but I also like it with pistols only.

Gentlemen,

AA has just released version 2.3. Two new maps:

- Woodland Outpost:

Enemy forces have established a remote woodland outpost
from which to launch reconnaissance patrols and
conduct ambushes. This guerilla outpost rests in a valley
surrounded by rocky woodland terrain. The enemy command
tent is centrally located within the camp. A squad
from the 75th Ranger Regiment must perform reconnaissance
of the area in order to identify the location of the
guerilla command tent. Once identified, they must then
assault the command post to prep and destroy the enemy
weapons depot.

- Urban Assault:

A coalition convoy was raided and the cargo was stolen.
It has been confirmed that the insurgents and the cargo
are based in a residential area of the city. Due to the
dense urban nature of the area it will be necessary to
do a house by house assault on foot. A squad from the
172nd Sep. Infantry BDE must conduct an assault to take
and hold objectives cargo ALPHA and BRAVO. Once
objectives are captured wait for arrival of friendly
reinforcements to transport cargo.

For the Hospital crew (you know who you are), it looks like Urban Assault might be right up our alley.
