The inflitrator cylons are made of flesh and blood, put together well enough to pass a military flight physical (and if they're anything like they are now, they would have noticed a toaster sitting in the chest cavity).

Plus, if it was that easy to figure them out cylon detection would take little more than seeing if a refrigator magnet sticks to their head.

I like the Matrix theory. I think it's spot on. Except, I think the Cylons are switching it up this time, substituting real humans with a human-cylon breed. I also think they have to find earth in order to eliminate all the "salmon" humans.

Oh and I believe the priestest was a Cylon.

I love the accuracy of the show - like how aviators still command the baddest boats.

That's fucked up.

Of course, having aviators involved certainly explained the collision during a routine UNREP.

JFK, dhow, nuff said.

Why?  Is it because she's helping lead the humans toward Earth?

Pretty much. That and I have a hard time believing that character is gone for good. She played too important of a role.

IMHO She was killed because if she was on anymore she would have started to be a regular, and full time stars get paid more.
Remember that the producer in so many words said that Starbuck is so good at everything for the simple fact that they are paying her the same no matter how many scenes she is in.
I got a feeling that the Priestess asked for a raise.

40 or bust.
BTW it makes no sense that Commander Adama is a cylon.  He has a son.  The cylons can't reproduce, yet.  His son is like 30 years old at least.

I think he's right. The Sharon Cylon told the Dr. that there were 8 cylons still hidden among the fleet. If we consider the fact that those already known to Galactica (PR guy, Air Lock guy, the Sharon model and #6) would have already been vetted out  of the fleet by virtue of the fact that they already know what they look like, then that leaves the 8 undiscovered 'models' within the fleet that Sharon spoke ofb.

Kinda hard to figure a logical reason why with such technology no records surived other than Myths.

The more advanced the technology, the more fragile it is. With our electronic storage medium being used to store so much of our info, if there was  a widespread  technological failure, within a few generations most of our non paper-based  knowledge would be reduced to legend. Even the paper-stored info, since without using  acid-free paper, most books fall apart within a century or so. And on to the new thread..................
