She believes in an absolute system of morality. Anyone who varies from this moral system is not simply wrong, but is evil. Even thoughts which violate her moral code are evil.

She tries to evaluate every single action or thought into her particular moral “trip.” The entire universe is viewed solely according to her self imposed framework of reality.

She accuses everyone she disagrees with of various sexual perversions.

She has no concept of the normal social order or about normal relations between men and women.

She has no sense of humor.

She has an absolute hatred of a particular group, in this case it’s “men” she hates. Now, I’m sure she would claim she doesn’t hate all men just ones that don’t live up to her standards…. But what are those standards? Apparently it would be impossible for any man to actually live in a way that pleases her.

If you are straight you are rapist. Unless of course you follow some bizarre standard of behavior of course, and even then she could find problems with your actions. She would probably find reason to criticize gay men too, she certainly throws around the phrase “homoerotic” enough. (keep this in mind) She also criticizes men who at least try to please feminists and has a pet insult for them, “unicorns.” (keep this in mind too.)

For those who haven’t figured it out yet, she thinks exactly the most extreme Fundamentalist Christian. The ones that would take a line form a movie, show how it conflicts with some Bible verse, and use that fact as justification for how the whole movie and everyone in it was evil.

Islamic fundamentalists think the same way and so did the Communists, the Nazis, the Fascists, the early Catholic Church, etc.

Those “homoerotic” scenes… Well, I doubt that they were homoerotic exactly. Since I’m straight I would have trouble knowing. But how would she know what arouses a gay man anymore than I do? My guess is that she was actually aroused by the scenes and that’s what triggered her negative reaction.

And the “unicorn” thing? Calling men that is an obvious reference to the penis… “It is easy to despise what you cannot get.” I think Aesop said that…

Anyway, arguing or debating what this woman said would be pointless. I’m just writing this because it’s such a textbook case of intolerance and bigotry.

Her belief system has been rejected by the vast majority of women (and all men) and it won’t survive past this current generation.

I've never watched Firefly, though I do like BSG and SG.  Now it looks like I'll have to start.

She is obviously batshit insane.  Firefly is nothing other than an attempt to portray a rough western-style frontier society in space.  Sorry sweetie, for most of human history life was much rougher than it is in the women's studies department at your local university.  Bad shit happened, to both men and women.  Take Inara for example.  She is a high class courtesan.  You could find women like her in ancient Athens, Renaissance Venice, or Imperial China.  Typically, these women are very beautiful but are not from the upper class.  Their choice in life is to live an obscure life (potentially in poverty), or to enter the upper circles as a courtesan.  

Her relationship with Mal is brilliantly tragic because Mal, underneath the roguish cynicism, still adheres to traditional values.  He is attracted to Inara, but will never be able to accept that she will sleep with other men because that goes against the traditional values of marriage and monogamy.  She, on the other hand, is attracted to him but will never be able to give up her ticket to the upper crust of society and live simply as Mal's woman.  Its a brilliant piece of tragic love that makes for good drama.  

But Ms. Batshit Insane misses all of this because, well, she is insane.  The irony is that if Ms. Batshit Insane lived in the kind of rough, frontier society that Firefly depicts, she'd almost certainly be a prostitute - and not a high class companion, but one of the two dollar whores from Heart of Gold.  Frontier societies didn't have time to coddle idiots, and if a woman had no other use she'd be a whore.  She'd basically be Crazy Cora from Quigley Down Under.

Yes, ridiculous, compensating morons run the society you live in. And every other society in existence for the entire history of the species. I wonder why that is. Is it because men are superior and women inferior? Are men smarter than women? Or is it just that part of the fundamental difference between men and women just so happens to make men better suited to governing society and women tending to more local issues?

Traditionally, men provided for the family, defended it, sheltered it, and gave it everything it had. They performed the heavy labor. Women raised and educated the children, cooked the meals and did other domestic chores, and saw to the needs of the men when they came back from working, hunting, or fighting, whichever was needed that day. Neither was superior to the other, they performed roles that complemented one another and made a partnership that kept the family alive and healthy. Western society is based on this, and it was western society that first rid itself of slavery, allowed women to vote (and no, at least in the US, women weren't forbidden from voting because "ZOMG teh evil manz is keeping us down!!!!11!!one", it's because historically they had little interest in politics and men didn't think women should be corrupted by politics.), and has, for centuries, given women the same rights as men. Capitalism made western society in general and the US in particular what it is today: the most successful and powerful in the world, with the most individual freedom and liberty on the earth today.

Since she psychoanalyzes us, I'll take the liberty to psychoanalyze her.  The natural relationship between the sexes is that the man pursues women he finds attractive, and the woman yields to the affections of a man she finds worthy.  For whatever reason, be it personality or looks, Ms. feminist is not being pursued by men at all, or at least not by men she finds worthy.  Oftentimes this is a problem with a woman who has traits society as a whole find valuable (such as high intelligence, strong will, etc.) but which don't translate into attracting a man, or which are overwhelmed by her bad qualities which turn off men.
