OK, primate, maybe I should have drawn a more vivid picture.

He didn't violate any law.

The same thought processes which can ban THINKING about screwing little kids, can be used to ban THINKING about using guns.

Uh, sure . . . except that screwing little kids is very illegal, while using guns is not.

Good comparision, troll.

But "voting from the rooftops " Isn't legal, yet it gets a fair amount of airtime here. Ask yourself do you REALLY want thought police?

but he's doing more than just THINKING , he's actually STALKING.

And we're doing more than thinking, we're actually practicing.

How's that weekly range trip gonna look when it's combined with a "vote from the rooftops" post?

The same argument made against this guy could be made against us.

Tell a jury that you have 25,000 rounds for your bullet hose for self defense.

Tell a judge you use the 6 pound scope on top of your .50 for hunting.

And don't get me started on bumpfiring.  When that shows up on 60 minutes we're fucked.

Other than violating a blatantly unconstitutional RO, this creep committed no crime.

I never heard of this guy before this thread, but I suspect he gets as big a  thrill out of the negative attention as much as he does kiddy porn. The judge and the cops royally screwed the pooch on this one.

I don't think so, but I'd rather the courts screw the pooch than this perv screws someone....if you know what I mean!

If a blatant assault on the First Amendment is supported by gun supporters what hope is there for support for the Second Amendment which is far less popular?  Let's ban assault rifles, black rifles because they LOOK bad and dangerous, no matter that they are no more dangerous, it's the thought that counts?

Released from prison by technicality.
abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=local&id=5592898

CHATSWORTH, Aug. 22, 2007 (KABC-TV) - The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office dropped all charges against a self-proclaimed pedophile who was arrested last week for violating a temporary restraining order.

Some parents are now on alert and taking extra precautions now that Jack McClellan is out of jail.

"I am definitely keeping a much closer watch on my child, she attends camp here," says Michael Goldberg, Concerned Parent.

"Well I just make sure, I told my son to stay within all of the counselors. And to make sure he does not talk to strangers and to always be with somebody," says Sylva Garcia, Concerned Parent.

Forty-five year-old McClellan has become notorious in Southern California for taking pictures of children in public places and then posting them on the internet.

Earlier this month a judge ordered McClellan to stay at least 30 feet away from all minors in California. But last week, he was caught loitering around a child development program at UCLA's Franz Hall.

He was arrested, but L.A. City Attorney's Office decided Wednesday to drop their charges. McClellan was released due to a technicality. They say a judge did not hold a proper hearing or give McClellan proper notices on the restraining order.

The attorney that pushed for the order is outraged.

"I am absolutely frustrated and disappointed with the City Attorney's Office for two reasons, their failure to take any action and the affirmative misrepresentations to the public," says Anthony Zinnanti, Attorney.

For now McClellan's restraining order is in effect. But parents are just hoping that he will obey it.

"What are the lawmakers thinking when they'll put people who are a risk to our children back out on the streets. But you take someone who gets caught with an ounce of marijuana in their pocket is in jail for ten years," says Marsha Roberts, Parent.

The L.A. City Attorney's Office says that the decision was ethical and they are standing by it.

McClellan, on the other hand, has no criminal record. He has always denied that he intentionally violated his restraining order last week at UCLA. He is expected in court on Friday.

Why the sad face?

Other than violating an unconstitutional RO, he has committed no crime!

If we're gonna lock folks up because of what they might do instead of what they have done, all us gun toting mofos are in deep shit.

Zero sympathy... unlike a regular waste of skin criminal scumbag...pedophiles are not curable and will always reoffend... The police should just shoot him in the head..

Its for the children right?

How would you feel if fuckface molested your daughter or some other kid? This person serves no purpose other than creating misery...

How would you feel if a mountie kicked down your door and took your gun?

You could shoot someone.

They are releasing him on RO?  That's messed up.  The guy lives in his car, has no job and no permanent address.  What could be more of a flight risk?

They should at least make him post bail.

Not they, the judge.
